Irving Residence is shaped by a quiet language of curves, where architecture softens into landscape and interior space unfolds with sculptural ease. Externally, rounded volumes and gentle edges temper the building’s mass, creating a calm, tactile presence within a lush garden setting. Inside, this curvature continues through arched openings, softened ceiling forms, curved glazing and sculpted stone gestures, allowing light to move fluidly through the home.
Materiality is restrained yet deeply expressive. Pale timber joinery, warm plaster, natural stone and bronze-toned accents create a layered palette of softness and permanence. The richly veined stone becomes both anchor and artwork, framing key moments in the kitchen, dining and living spaces. Together, the curved geometry and natural materials give the residence a sense of warmth, refinement and quiet architectural confidence.
